Anakin Films - Background

Anakin Films began in 1998 with the idea that high quality films could be produced on a budget when the right professionals are pulled together and encouraged to be active participants in the telling of the story. Many of our projects exist because of the talented efforts of producers, writers, directors, actors, and crew
who came to the project to serve the story, and make the best movies possible.

With their first project "The Killing Machine" Anakin Films was launched, writing and producing a film about a robotic gun for hire, and the inventor who collected the revenues. Next was a comedy about electric cars entitled "Test Drive". After some work on a comedy documentary "The Vanzerelli's" they continued in the comedy vein with "Animal in us all" and the "McFwap!" pilot.

But in 2002 Anakin Films returned to its roots, making dramatic stories that are best expressed on the bigscreen. "Time Warp", "Spy Hunter", "The Ghost of Saint Michael's", and "TKM" are all feature film projects developed through Anakin Films.

Currently Anakin Films is expanding its group of writers, producers, and crew over multiple projects; building a steady stream of films through creative teamwork, and a more consistent output for its distributors and investors. Our goal has always been to make solid stories into amazing movies.

Thank you to all those who participated. We look forward to
continuing the legacy of excellence that has made Anakin Films more than a production company, but a family.
